There are two main types of attachments when using
an excavator for compacting soil. One is a vibrating plate and the other
is a static roller wheel. Felco offers the advantage of having a bucket
with either style of compactor. A compactor bucket allows the operator to place
and compact the backfill material while following closely behind the pipe laying,
reducing the number of men and pieces of equipment. |
