Aluminum Manhole Shield
ICM offers you a choice. . .manhole shields of high tensile steel, or new lightweight aluminum. Our MH Series steel are heavier, and are rated for deeper jobs. The AMH Series are much lighter for easier handling at the jobsite, and rated protection for moderate depths. These shields surround the  pit and provide an unobstructed inner span for excavating and placing the manhole.

Round Manhole Shield from GME
Round Manhole Box
Specially designed for personal protection during manhole installations and repair work. High strength steel walls, welded securely to rigid steel top and bottom framing. Optional replaceable cut-outs allow for clearance of utility lines. RMH Trench Shields are light enough for handling with rubber-tired backhoes, yet provide maximum protection for workers in the hole. RMH 8-foot high trench shield units include four adjustable legs with stacking pins.
