The
MC-1 is a self contained laser receiver and visual display that is
designed for use on a backhoe or trencher. It enables the machine
operator to take elevation readings from the the control seat. The
electronics are housed in a heavy duty aluminum extrusion, and provide 8
inches (205mm) of receiving height in a 120 degree arc. The bright LED
grade display can be seen at a distance, and provides 5 channels of
information, high, high fine, on grade, low fine, and low. Controls
consist of an on/off switch, and a switch to control the brightness of
the LED display. The MC-1 will run for approximately 200 hours on 4 C
alkaline batteries, or 70 hours on optional rechargeable Ni-Cds. The
unit mounts to the stick of the backhoe with a section of steel channel
and 4 weld on tabs. (Shown on MG1 magnetic mount.) 3 Year Guardian
