These
models are rugged, dependable, and designed for use in construction of
all types. They are manufactured in 24X and 20X with the same basic
concepts in design and durability as our most expensive automatic
levels. Their rigid construction will ensure accuracy for years of
service under severe conditions.
Telescope:
Erect
image with an analectic optical system. The resulting image is sharp and
has high contrast, a traditional quality of PENTAX optics. Easy
aiming with the open gun sight which locates the target quickly and
places it well within the field of view.
Automatic
Compensator:
Precise compensator, with special alloy ribbon, which provides extremely
stable survey results even under unfavorable conditions such as
vibration. The image is stabilized by a strong magnetic field but is not
effected by any surrounding magnetic force.
Horizontal
Circle:
Both models have a
graduated horizontal circle with index marks at every 90° for
convenient right angles. The
metal circle is enclosed for protection of the precise graduations.
Setting
Up: Can
be mounted on flat or domed head tripods and have quick acting leveling
screws for fast and easy setup.
Short
Focus:
A level rod or target can be focused from only 35 inches which
makes those tight jobs no problem at all.
Color:
The
top of the level is bright red for high visibility on the job site.
Size:
Light weight and compact.
