ETH 100 Series Theodolites

The ETH-100 Series features model numbers that reflect angle   accuracy, and incorporates easy to see Pentax red side covers for safety and recognition as part of the Pentax line of high quality survey instruments.
The ETH-105A features a 5" accuracy, single axis compensator, an RS-232C data port, dual displays, and a detachable tribrach. The ETH-107 provides 7" accuracy along with an RS-232C data port, dual displays, and a detachable tribrach. Models ETH-110C and 120C are 10" and 20" accuracy instruments on a shifting base and ETH-110F and 120F are on a fixed base. In all models horizontal and vertical angles can be observed simultaneously on the large 2 line, back-lit LCD display, and vertical angles can be easily converted to percent slope with one key stroke. Other standard features include a 90° signal for easy right angle setting, automatic power off to conserve batteries, and a battery life indicator on the LCD display. Four AA alkaline batteries provide 30 to 45 hours of operation, depending on the model.

Priority Horizontal Angle Display: Horizontal angle measurement is given priority display on all ETH models. Horizontal and vertical angles can be observed simultaneously.

Easy-to-Read Display: Display panel has a large and easy to read segmented LCD with back-light illumination. Simple, logical keyboard and mode display provide maximum operator convenience.

Simplified Operation: With the touch of a key, horizontal angles; can be set to zero, can be switched between right and left reading, can repeat angle measurement on the ETH-105A and ETH-107, can be retained with the HOLD key on the ETH-110 and ETH-120 and vertical angles can be converted to percent of slope.

90° Signal: Buzzer sounds at every 90° for easy right angle setting.

Automatic Power Off: Automatic power off prevents unnecessary battery drainage. The remaining battery capacity is indicated on the display.

Automatic Vertical Compensator: The ETH-105A has a built in automatic compensator to ensure precise vertical angle measurement. The out of range warning is displayed to eliminate erroneous measurement.
