SOKKIA DT2E Digital

Sokkia’s
DT2E Electronic Digital Theodolite has advanced mechanical features for
greater speed, accuracy, and convenience. Mechanical features include a
dual-axis compensator for improved accuracy in angle measurement, and a
simplified keyboard with multiple-function keys which provide access to an
extensive range of measurement and calculation functions.
User-Definable
Softkey Operation— The four “Soft-Function-Keys” simplify operation
and enhance work efficiency and the user-definable feature allows you to
allocate any function to any key of any page. For example, the functions
most frequently used can be allocated to the first display page and
functions seldom used can be temporarily deleted. The large dot-matrix LCD
displays four lines of 20 characters to provide full information. The
control panels are conveniently located on both faces for ease of use.
Ultimate
Accuracy Ensured by the Dual-Axis Compensator—Horizontal angle
measurement errors caused by instrument tilt cannot be corrected by
observational methods. The only way to avoid these errors is to level the
instrument perfectly, or to employ an electronic dual-axis compensator.
The dual-axis tilt sensor detects deviation of the standing axis in both X
and Y directions. Correction values for both horizontal and vertical
circle readings are computed and applied automatically. No other current
method can achieve greater angle measurement performance.
Convenient Angle
Measurement Modes—Selectable angle units are “degree”, “gon” and
“mil”. Horizontal angle measurements can be taken in “clockwise”
or “counterclockwise” directions. In the “repetition” mode, the
averaged horizontal angle of multiple observations is automatically
calculated for maximum accuracy. The 0 setting and horizontal angle hold
can be performed with a double key touch. Vertical angles can be selected
from “Zenith 0”, “Horizontal 0” and “Horizontal 0 +/-”. The
slope can be displayed as a percentage by a single key operation. |
Total
Station Capability with Add-on EDM’s—The DT2E is capable of total
station performance when combined with Sokkia’s add-on EDM’s which can
be operated via the softkeys of the theodolite. Slope horizontal and
vertical distances are calculated and indicated on the theodolite’s
displays
Onboard Software for Total Station Functionality Missing Line Measurement
(MLM)—A DT2E, in combination with EDM, enables the measurement of
horizontal distances, slope distances, height differences, and slopes in
percent (%) between two prisms.
Remote Elevation
Measurement (REM)—The height of a point inaccessible for prism placement
can be easily determined by simply sighting a prism placed above or below
the point and then sighting the point itself.
Interface Port and
External Power Plug—The interface port permits connection to the
SDR33/31 Electronic Field Books for automatic data collection. Sokkia’s
variety of external power supply systems can be used via the external
power plug. The port and plug are incorporated in the base, allowing the
alidade to rotate freely without cable interference. |
