PLS1 SOKKIA Precise Tilting Level
PL1S  Precise Tilting Level

PL1S Precise Tilting level

Choose the PL1S for applications that require precise measurement of differences in elevation, or when direct measurement is impossible. Accurate to hundredths or even thousandths of an inch, the PL1S has many special applications:

bullet

Use it during industrial construction to set and check the pads that machines, turbines, etc. are placed upon

bullet

Confirm design specifications

bullet

Check alignment of components or tools for aircraft construction, repair and maintenance

bullet

Confirm that paper mill rollers are level and in proper alignment with other rollers

bullet

Precise laboratory measurements

bullet

Collimated base line of sight references

bullet

Precise leveling of equipment

bullet

Measuring flatness of machine ways or beds

The PL1S’s combination of a tilting mechanism sensitive to 10’ / 2mm, a coincidence-type vial observation system accurate to 0.5” or better, and an integral optical micrometer direct-reading to 0.001 in. guarantee precise leveling and accurate measurements.

And it’s easy to adjust the optical to the mechanical axis—just rotate the optical wedge until the line of sight is horizontal. You won’t find an easier-to-use, more accurate level anywhere.

 SOKKIA PD3 Perpendicular Instrument
PD3 Perpendicular Detector

PD3 Perpendicular Detector

bullet

Plummeting transfer of base point to the upper story of the framework of a building

bullet

Determination of plummeting alignment in underground surveying

bullet

Setting up a signal target from a triangulation point

bullet

Determining and checking perpendicularity in multi-story buildings, iron towers, elevator shafts, chimneys, and ship-building

Two telescopes are conveniently positioned one above the other for upward and downward plummeting. The vertical axis of the PD3 and the axes of the telescopes correspond in order to eliminate plummeting errors when rotating the instrument during observation.

The precision plate levels (20” / 2mm) ensure perpendicularity of the vertical axis. A pair of plate levels positioned at a right angle let you quickly level the PD3 with any two of the three leveling screws.
