The UEMSI Trax® is a fully adjustable tractor for use
in 6" though 15" pipe (optional expansion kits available for 18" though 30"
pipe) and is capable of pulling a standard mainline or pan & tilit camera up
to 1200 feet. It operates at various speeds and runs in forward,
neutral and reverse. When set in neutral, Trax can easily be pulled back
through the line, causing less wear and tear to the equipment. Depending on
cable and pipe conditions, Trax can travel over 45 feet per minute. It
adapts to various cameras and is compatible with all manufacturers'
mutli-conductor mainline systems. To keep the worker safely above ground,
Trax enters in through the manhole. The desktop controller features a
spring-loaded directional switch, an amperage meter and a power indicator
light. When Trax is used with a UEMSI PCU, the desktop controller is not
needed, as a controller is built-in the to PCU. Trax also has a one-year
warranty on electrical and mechanical systems. |

| Constructed from the same rugged specifications as its full-sized
counterpart, Trax Jr. makes entering and exiting manholes easier than ever
with an overall length of 25". Trax Jr. is fully adjustable for use in 6"
through 15" pipe (optional expansion kits available for
18" though 30" pipe) and is capable of pulling a standard mainline or pan &
tilit camera up to 1200 feet. Included as standard equipment on Trax Jr. is
a body weight for optimized traction. |
