12-Yard Hydro Excavator

The Mud Dog® 1200 is Super Products’ 12-yard debris capacity hydro excavator, and the ideal alternative to traditional excavators and other traditional digging equipment.  The Mud Dog® 1200 offers several new features and unique capabilities that can increase jobsite performance, operator convenience, and operational cost savings over other digging methods.

The water system of the Mud Dog® 1200 includes an 18gpm water pump and 705K water heater, heated and insulated water return lines, all with a 1,500 gallon capacity water tank.

The unit is available in three rear axle configurations: tandem rear axle chassis, tandem rear axle chassis with pusher axle, and tridem rear axle chassis, for increased versatility across applications.

The signature rear-mounted boom system offers an impressive range of motion, to cover as much ground as possible.  It is capable of 335° rotation around the unit, 19 to 27 foot reach at extension, 45° upward pivot, and 25° downward pivot, able to reach a depth of 14 feet below grade.

The Mud Dog® 1200 also features the AccuLevel Load Sensor System, immune to airflow, noise, vibration, dust, and humidity, accurately measuring fill levels of liquid, solid, or slurry wastes and automatically preventing overfilling.

The Mud Dog® 1200 features the same tilt-unloading ejection system standard on other Super Products truck systems, for quick, efficient, and complete unloading even when uploading in an up slope/nose-down position.
